Quick Tear 2025 is a 2.5 oz. stiff heavy weight tear-away backing that tears easily and cleanly. It is best suited for hats and caps. Tear-away backings are used on woven materials that have little stretch and don't need much stabilization. 2025 is a wet-laid backing which is best for embroidery because it doesn't stretch in any direction.
